NEW FOR 2026
A summer lived beautifully
As we prepare to throw open the shutters for our 2026 season, beginning April 1st, the house feels more alive than ever.
As we prepare to throw open the shutters for our 2026 season, beginning April 1st, the house feels more alive than ever. We have spent the winter returning to the essentials - art, craft, and the joy of pure leisure - to create a summer lived beautifully.

In many ways, that’s our theme for this year.
To live a summer beautifully is to treat time as a material, something to be shaped, stretched and felt. It is a refusal to rush, a commitment to the composed life, and an enjoyment of the details that others might overlook: the coldness of a glass, the weight of linen, the way the light falls across the terrazzo floor in time for your daily bread/aperitivo.
This season, that intention for ‘a summer lived beautifully’ is taking shape with a series of new arrivals at the Mira.

Maestros of the Riviera
Much of what defines your stay at Miramare begins in the boutique workshops along the Riviera where artisans have spent lifetimes perfecting a singular vocation. This season, we step outside our doors to celebrate them through our Maestros of the Riviera.
This cinematic mini-series will take you from the historic streets of Genova to the coast’s hidden coves, venturing inside the ateliers of the hands that shape our house. It is a tribute to our local partners, and a way to introduce you to the custodians of Riviera culture.

More artwork
The Miramare has always been more of a home than a hotel, and like any home, the place evolves with the passions of those who live within it. In that vein, our ever-present owner Andrea has spent the winter curating the next chapter of the miramART collection.
“I love adding a piece to the house," he says, “especially those which explore and shape the moment we are living in today.”
Among the ten new pieces of art now hanging on our walls, two are of particular note. In the lounge, a striking work by R.F. Alvares now commands the room, while our newest suite features a resemantized piece by Linda Fregni Nagler.

A new suite
The latest addition to our sleep collection is also our most generous. Suite Paraggi is a new two-bedroom residence that serves as a private Ligurian pied-à-terre.
It is a space of high ceilings and Milanese design, with a central shared living area flanked by two independent en-suite bedrooms. Designed for the communal ease of friends or family traveling together, the suite culminates on a balcony where you stand at eye level with the horizon, the Gulf of Tigullio unfolding in front of you.

A re-invented beach club
In the 1950s, the Riviera lived by a simple optimism: everything, even a beach umbrella, deserved to be beautiful. This season, we bring that spirit back to the water’s edge with the debut of Bagni Mira, our newly reimagined beach club.
This open-air living room calls back to a world that hadn’t yet learned how to rush. High-contrast glamour, sharp stripes, slow shadows. Bagni Mira is a contemporary translation of our seaside legacy, and a fresh take on what makes Estate Italiana so singular.
More to follow in May.

Fresh menus
Chef Claudio and our Head Barman Roberto are currently in the final stages of composing this year’s dishes and drinks.
Our kitchen will continue its conversation with the coast, building on the flavors that defined last summer. The focus remains on the integrity of the ingredient: the crispness of ‘fritto di mare’, the salt-fresh ‘pescato del giorno’, and the green comforts of ‘trofie al pesto’.
Further excursions
The sea remains our most requested protagonist. While a private boat to the Cinque Terre is a perennial favorite for guest excursions, this year we’ll offer visits to the more intimate San Fruttuoso and the pastel-hued harbors of Camogli.
A deeper guide on the Riviera’s must-visit towns can be found here.
See you shortly
The house is (almost) ready, the light is lengthening, and the first bottles of vermentino are on ice. We hope you’ll join us this season for a summer lived beautifully.
