The Significance of miramART
Art is one of Andrea and Fabio’s (the hotel’s owners) passions, and through miramART they have brought the world of contemporary art into the hotel. The collection and its installations are a work in progress built day after day, meeting after meeting.
Each work explores and shapes our time, allowing us to push the limit of what you might expect from a grand hotel, and adding touches of humor and lightheartedness around our halls.
We want to spark an interesting dialogue between the great liberty architecture of the hotel and the world of contemporary art. Never forcing something onto a guest, but always leaving them free to read the works as they wish.
miramART is a great example of the Miramare being a meeting point between two worlds: elegant hospitality and contemporary thinking.
Historic Tales with Contemporary Twists
We are always moving forward and looking to tweak and twist as we go. For example, one of our most recent additions is a vegetable and fruit garden that will supply the restaurant.
We also want to bring a freshness to how you experience Italy. Yes there is indulgence, but we don’t want you to leave feeling like you need another holiday to recover! We try to bring a vibrancy and energy to everything we do. Whether it’s a dish in Vistamare or a detail in your room.
